Europe's top producer of chipmaking tools likely to hike price amid inflation
TAIPEI -- Top European chip equipment supplier ASML warned on Wednesday that the world's semiconductor supply chain will face disruptions if the U.S. forces the company to stop selling its mainstream equipment to China. Tension Pulley
"I think we need to realize that China is an important player in the semiconductor industry, especially not [only] in the matured node, but also mainstream semiconductors," Peter Wennink, CEO of ASML, told investors. "It is a very significant supplier of the global markets. So we just have to be careful what we're doing."
